This is a song written in 1948 by Floyd Tillman. It was a big hit for him and Jimmy Wakely that year. It has benn covered by a ton of well known singers since. This is the Patsy Cline version.

Mezzo,
Hearing older songs for the first time, I just feel that you and the others on this site are just terrific singers. As good as the Professional Recording Artists themselves that are out there today. I have heard a lot of Patsy Cline and my Father loves her music. I can't imagine that you could do a better job then this, since my Father listened and you were bringing him tears. Wonderfully done.
