[b]Hey.. I finally got a chance this afternoon to go over an old one that I'd done in the past, using my old old old karaoke machine and recording program. Man, what a difference in sound! This one was a toughie to get the voice and backing balanced to perfection, so I finally stopped with this effort. Although I was never a huge John Denver fan, he did make some pretty danged nice songs that are worth goferizing, so here goes and please enjoy....

ON EDIT .... doh ... this link takes ya to the one without the teeny sound glitch at the beginning. Gotta be smarter than the editor, right?

| I thoroughly enjoyed my listen, Dale. John Denver wrote long before he ever started to perform. Some of his songs are just wonderful and will become real classics. |

Again very nicely done Gofer. I only know John Denver Country Roads. I feel like a little puppy on this site. You know after I give the cd to my Grandfather, since they have high speed internet, I'm going to spin through all of you on this sites songs and download what he wants and make him cds. I know He will talk my head off with all of the information about all of these older songs in detail. That man is a walking Country database, old to new. His idea of watching tv is Country music stations. Except for a couple times there was football on, I don't think I have ever seen anything but Country music stations being played on their tv or just the radio playing. Great job my Friend.
Sincerely,
Steven Jr. :D |
